2012 Mercury 9.9 oil pressure question

I also posted this in Mercury engine section.
I just purchased a new 9.9 and West Marine RIB. I have about one hour on it and I have a question about the oil light. It takes about 5 seconds (seems like 5 minutes) for the red oil warning light to go off, cold or warm, on every start. Does anyone else have a newer four stroke mercury and how long does your light stay on? Thanks in advance.

2009 here, and yes, it takes that long for mine to go off. I doubt it's a problem.

I have a 2011 15hp (Tohatsu) and it stays on for only seconds.

It takes a few seconds for the pump to get the oil "pumping".

Got a 2012 9.9 pro kicker. Yep, takes a few sec for red light to go out.
