Completely dependent where you live. Non-power is not required and any powered boat under 16' is $35 for 3 years in Georgia.

Yikes, it was less the last time I renewed mine in September.

For the non powered boats under 16 ft will they need to be registerd in simple paper form at the state office where boat is located ?

Powered boats that needs registration along number, is it done fast, needs a lot of paperwork, deal with bureaucracy if any ?

$ 35.00 fee for 3 years is real cheap if compared to boating costs.

Down here if you have a wooden, alum deck Sib you only have to do a simple registration, but if you happen to have any hard hull boat 10 ft or larger your via crucis will start. Need to handle the proforma invoice where you bought or who manufactured it, a construction diagram with tech chararcteristics, pics of the boat and motor and pay an out of this world fee that doesn't discriminate which size is the boat, seems all sizes are placed in same sack...
