I have a camping trailer that I tow behind my sedan. It is outfitted with a roof rack on top, rather just the cross bars. Would it be possible to strap down a mariner 4 fuller inflated and travel a few hundred miles??

Post if possible a pic of the roof rack . Been trasporting for years heavier Sibs with a self made wooden rack with no issues.

If inflatable is wider than the roof rack, place 2 say 12 /15 cm wooden bars one front, other rear of rack, see how to attach them properly onto bars. That way will support inflatable nicely for any highway adventure. Will need to strap down inflatable well inflated to sit nicely onto wooden bars.

The boat will be wider than the rack, the trailer is 4' wide and the rack is probably 6" narrower.

So effectively I just need to widen the rack and make sure I strap it down well......
