Is this the hull # (for registration purposes) that's on the rear of the boat by the motor mount brackets?

Yes that appears to be it, although they have changed the labeling somewhat from how it is on my 3 year old model. Most likely you will also need a certificate of origin, you can fill out an on-line form on Intex's website and that will email it to you (http://www.intexcorp.com/boatcert/)

Thanks for that info. I just typed in my hull # and was able to download the certificate right away. This will help at DMV.

Yes it will help and make sure you have your receipt and know your state laws/codes to bypass the BS lol
