Looking for some info on manufactures that make USCG approved Electronic VDS devices. They must be USCG 160.072 approved, and blink S.O.S. Like to replace the flares.

There is one claiming to be approved. But I can't link to it. Google finds it.

There are several that flash S-O-S, but either the light is not white or they don't float upright. Both of these are required by 161.013.

Thanks, Tired of replacing, because of expiration. Need three sets. Figured batteries would be better and also you can check the operation on them

What you are looking for is the Sirius Signal SOS Distress Light, SOS C-1001. It complies with US Coast Guard Requirements in 46 CFR 161.013. It uses 3 C cell alkaline batteries and never expires, it is an Approved Night VDS.
