Best lakes in wisconsin for pontoon boat

I bought my pontoon boat last October and I'm looking best lakes in WI for my boat. I live in Chicago

Wisconsin has over 15000 lakes. you will have to be a bit more specific as to what you want to do with your pontoon - cruise, anchor and swim, fish, etc.

most people have a lake they like going to, then they buy a boat. Makes the whole logistic thing easier.

What kind of trailer do you have with your pontoon. That will determine how-far you can travel, and what kind of ramps you can use.


there is a great chain of lakes much much closer to Chigago. have you checked out Fox Lake / Grass Lake near lake villa, just west of Gurnee

In southern wisconsin, you have Lake Geneva, delavan lake, Beulah lake, and a few I'm forgetting. Those are nice lakes, although lake Geneva can be pretty rough on the weekends due to the weekend party crowd. Also, what size pontoon?? You might be able to do lake Geneva on the weekends if you have a large enough toon
