Anybody know where I can get a new cap? I don't want to replace the entire line to the tank.

Strange that the link isnt opening for some reason (on Mobil)... I'll check when I get back to the computer. Although I can't see it's just a white I guess if I had to use the cap and purchase the whole thing for that price that would be fine too...

Little chrome vent cap (with hull fitting) for about $17 or so.

Ok, I checked that link, and the vent in my pic definitely does not look like this one. My old cap was just circular with a threaded inside. Would this new one be hard to put on? I don't think it would be. Just take the old one out and then reseal this with silicon?

3m 4200 or 5200, NOT silicone...

It would be easy to replace IF you can easily access the inside of it where the nut and hose go on.

Thanks smoke. I will make a note to get 3M 4200 or 5200. Can I just get that at a hardware store? The hose is very easily accessible.

Old Jeep,

Yes I believe it is exactly like this one! This might work better, then I can just replace the cap but have a spare vent right?
