We are planning a trip to Laughlin with our 24 foot Ebbtide deck boat and I was just wondering if it is safe to take it on the Colorado River and wondering what there is for us to do. This will be out first time in Laughlin with a boat.

Looking over the water from the casino patio-there didn't seem to be enough depth for safe boating. Research.

Don"t do it if you do not know the river, maybe in a jet boat lots of sand bars and real low spots. Take it over to lake mohave just a few miles down the road you will have fun there and will not have to replace your prop....

We just got back from Laughlin. We stayed in a Casino and had a great time. However, we dropped the boat in a slip at Katherine's Landing the first day and did all of our boating on Lake Mohave. Mohave is only about a 10 minute drive and is soooo much better than the river.
