I'm about to tackle a new radio install, after looking underneath at the stock radio wire harness on my 91 bayliner capri. There is a red and a black wire running to the front of my boat and they disappear.

Anybody have any idea where these wire go? Only thing that has power up there is the running lights.

Before I go tackle this, has anybody wired up a newer radio in these boats?

Willpost pics tmrw, and thanks for replying. First time posting go easy on me

Most likely they run around the bow to the helm. Assuming a bow rider.

Fuse box maybe, most likely? and could you possibly use then as your ground and power source for the new install...

Well its definitely not the flux capcitor, I got up to 55mph and did not go to the year 1984.

After further inspection, you guys were right. Goes to the fuse box under the helm. Guess it powers the radio. Already lovin this forum.
