Starcraft super fisherman 17. I have 2 live wells and the back one fills with water. I did not have a plug in until it filled. Is this normal? I want to keep it dry.

I'll move this over to the Boat topics forum, doesn't really have anything to do w/ trailers or towing.

Should be a drain valve which if closed would prevent filling by reverse flow through the drain line. The bottom of the livewell is often below the water line.

Some times live wells will fill to the water level on the hull. Because the drain is usually below the water line and therefore if not plugged, it will allow water to come in. So if you want to keep it dry and never use it for a live well again. Remove the drain line and plug the opening at the through hull fitting itself...
