I have a 22 ft 1987 chaparral cuddy cabin does anyone have any info on automatic trim tabbs good bad or ugly input is appretiated thanks

If you mean like smart tabs then they are proven to be great...

If you mean auto level on hydraulic tabs that's a whole other thing.

Absolutley worth every penny, just put a set on and 18'Starcraft I/O, very impressed.

I have the Nauticus Smart Tabs on my Chief and as Dozer said worth every penny! Us bottom feeders like the prices on the factory blemish tabs that have a visible seam on the underside of the tab.

Trim Tabs provide stern lift to help boats plane, and help them plane at lower throttle settings. They can be real effective on stern-heavy boats like ones powered by sterndrives. They will help all boats plane to some extent, but are less effective on boats that are not stern-heavy.

I had a set of Bennett Trim Tabs on my 19 SeaRay I/O. They worked real well for me. I do not have those on my 21' outboard boat, as the stern is a bit lighter than the bow. That boat has no issue getting on plane.
