Can someone please help me with the correct terminology and boat models that the following describes -

On outboard boats before Euro transoms became popular, there is often a transom cutout for the outboard and small jump-seats on either side of the engine. Is there a name for this style of transom, or is it just non Euro transom?

Because the outboard needs space to tilt up, the space between the jump-seats is normally open. On a couple of occasions, I recall seeing some type of seat that goes across the entire transom, but folds up when the engine is tilted. Is there a name for this layout? Are there any specific brands/models that are known for this?

I'm not sure if it's correct, but I have always heard it referred to as a notched transom. Not sure who are making them currently.
