boat insurance?

quick ballpark question. about how much should i expect to pay for full coverage insurance on a $10,000 boat? $20 per month? $100 per month? just trying to get an idea of what i am looking at. i plan to call my agent tuesday but just trying to crunch numbers here this weekend

Honestly, there are too many variables to even guess a ballpark figure. Where you live, insurer, type of boat, deductible - the list goes on. You don't have a boat yet, so call your agent on Tuesday and let him/her make an educated guess.

You also need to further define "full coverage".
Way to many versions of "full coverage" on the market.

Things that may or may not be included are water hazards, towing, replacement use, full replacement, agreed value, contents and attachments.

You can also buy a new $10,000 14' aluminum rig, or a 1978 36' Silverton for the same money.
