I have a 92 Javelin 389T. On the bow of the boat there are 2 storage bins. The middle larger one is a dry storage with no drain. On the port side in front of the console there is a storage bin as well but it has a drain line in it. Does anyone know if this drain has a trap door or is it just open? When i got the boat, it was full of water and i couldn't get it to drain at all. I had to pump the water out of it. Recently i had the cover off from under the console and saw the drain coming from it going down the gunwale, but i have no idea where it goes from there. Except that it goes towards the stern somehow. Is it tied into another drain line somewhere? I would like to use this storage bin as a cooler from time to time as long as i can get it to drain the water off. Thanks
