I'm in search of a good way to rig up a swim ladder for our boat. We need to use a rope type ladder because of the limited storage space. We currently have a cockpit ladder for getting into the boat from the dock on either side with the garelick type catches (picture attached) and am hoping to use those existing catches to secure a rope ladder. any ideas? thank for any advice, cheers!

Just be aware that rope ladders are not easy to use when trying to board a boat from the water.....I know, we have one. It was so difficult that I found a teak swim platform with a two step ladder attached. The ladder on the platform stows for travel, much easier than the rope ladder. My other concern was if someone were to fall overboard, how do they get back on board if there is no one to throw the rope ladder down?.....so once again the swim platform with built in ladder can be reached from the water.....problem solved.
