One more time with a boat

I have had more than a few in my time from a kayak to a 24' cuddy. But I really wanted something to fish from in the lakes here in AZ so I purchased what they call a Rim Lakes Package yesterday from Cabelas. Most rim lakes in AZ allow only a 10 HP or less motor. That package consisted of a Lowe V1467WT boat (14' V hull), Mercury 9.9 HP motor and a sturdy trailer for it plus some accessories.
I will pick this one up today and then comes the painful part of buying all the stuff I will need to have with it as I no longer have any of it other than some basic fishing gear. So from the electric trolling motor to the anchor I have to equip the boat.
I got off motorcycles as I got older but it's tough giving up boats I guess.

Way past saving for retirement. Been retired for a number of years. Well, OK, I guess it's all Orange money as it's my pension now.
PS, I spent another $1k+ yesterday when I picked up the boat for a depth finder, battery, trolling motor vests and all accessories I no longer had.
