Hi All,
Just got myself an older but lightly used 14' Livingston bi-hull. The previous owner used it only a handful of times in the early 90's before it went into storage (I know the previous owner quite well and know this is true). It was really green and full of leaves but nothing a good hot pressure wash didn't fix. Its relatively un modified minus three pole holders and a swivel mount seat for the driver. Sits on a galvy calkins trailer. We outfitted it with an older 25hp Evinrude tiller, and have an older 4hp Evinrude kicker. We are big lake fishers here in NW Washington, especially trout and Kokanee. With this setup we hope to get into some crabbing and salmon fishing in Puget Sound now as well. We are struggling to find good places to mount downriggers without doing some serious drilling. The clamp on style lake trollers wont clamp on the gunwhales and there isn't any super convenient place to mount the surface mount style. We'd like to have at least two downriggers. Also, we are going to be outfitting the boat with a GPS/fishfinder combo unit and a VHF radio for use while in the salt. Any Idea

There are literally thousands of boat builders over the years and many different models of each brand. Some are local etc, etc.
Point is some of us wouldn't know a Livingston if we fell over it. So pictures would surely help us make suggestions.
You may have to use a a host site.It may be a help to know the hp rating and weight capacity.
Is it aluminum or glass?

You can mount the them to the gunnels, Scotty makes a vertical mount out of plastic that will bolt right to the inside and takes almost no space, it's about 1.5 inches thick. You can get the same thing at Three rivers Marine made from Aluminum.

Livingstons tend to be have thin laminates, so you may need add a little extra support if you use a large downrigger, small ones with light balls should be OK as is.
