That is what I hear. I have not spoken to John personally, however my brother has been there, and what you posted is consistent with everything I hear.
Incredibly sad to to loose such an icon on the Jersey shore. Literally hundreds if boats built there over a 50 year history, some of the finest Jersey sea skiffs.
