Mystery damage... help

Can you please take a look at this photo to tell me what you think may have caused this damage? Or do you know what this part is called? Or what the price to fix it would be?

The forum software is struggling with uploading pictures and yours is not showing up. Do you have a hosting site (Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you can link the photo from?

It's the forum software. They did an upgrade and it bugged up on 'em a bit. You're probably doing it right, the site just isn't handling it. Linking from a host like Flikr or Photobucket is what is working the best.
