Just bought a 1979 Starcraft Questar...

First time boat owner.

Trying to find a few things out... a PDF of the owners manual would be awesome.

How big is the onboard fuel tank? Is there a drain to easily empty it at the end of the summer?

Is there some sort of a gas cap keeper? It just unscrews and comes off.. so if you had it off to gas up in the water and it slipped out of your hand it would go to the deep.

Anything in particular I should watch for on this boat?

I would say its in fair - Good condition. Its appears to have been used but not abused.

Mercury 800 motor.

You are not likely to find an owners manual anywhere.

Best to get an operators manual or repair manual that covers the engine you have.

No drain in the fuel tank.
Either use the fuel up, or treat it with stabilizer, or pump it out through the fuel line if you need to empty it.
