maybe a wee bit too much motor for the boat.... moving batts etc forward may help

Don't back up faster than idle speed and slow down GRADUALLY from plane while trimming full down

No pictures came through. Post your boat and motor info and people can be more helpful. Also by using all caps you are indicating that you are yelling. Unlock the caps lock button.

The Motor looks from the pictures like it is setting to low in the water. It also looks like it is raised up to the highest setting. Can the jack plate be raised any? Is the motor shaft longer than the boat was designed for?

Those are "hot rods" in tha bass boat world. Kinda known for tha back wash till ya get what ya can and can't do to minimize it. Can't get to much horse power. Looks like a little to much offset? How much is it total? Have ya ever had any kinda hot rod boat before?

Looks like CLE gc. Can't tell for sure. Have ya got a water pressure gauge?

Need pictures of tha powerhead....All tha "outside" stuff is ProMax.....Merc doesn't build 175 "racing" motor. Except in tha lots newer 3.0 Opti ProXS series....Tha only thing COSWORTH Merc had was long time ago. Was a 3.4 motor that was pretty much not all it was talked up ta be. Wouldn't turn up tha rpm. Heads from one wouldn't fit anything else....

I can't tell anything about your problem from the information and pictures you've posted but the cap locks key on your computer seems to be stuck down. Perhaps you should try fixing that so you don't appear to be shouting every time you post something.

Might be.. Where are ya (boat)? .But need lots more on tha motor. Just from your description ya evidently "got from others" that didn't have clue, would like ta see pictures of tha power head...........Can ya speak a little louder? Can't hear so well...........:D

Gotta "recant" tha 175 deal. Its been a very, very long time ago that they did indeed build one. It was a first generation block motor. Mighta been '76/'77. Just forgot 'bout it..........

Jeez BB21, you have a goal to see how many forum rules you can violate in just one thread?
