1987 Grumman 16' - Fuel Tank Size

a little help with the fuel tank quantiy of my 1987 16ft grumman ? outbd engine tank is molded inside boat..thankx larry

Can you access the top of the tank......there is usually a data plate to see. OR in inches......Length X Width X Height = divided by 231 (equals gallons)

So as an example Let's say your tank is 18" wide and 28" long and 17" high (deep) 18 x 28 x 17 = 8568 divided by 231 = 37 gallons

1 gallon = 231 cubic inces
