I want to have my hull painted over, I have a 1981
23' Pro Line with outboard power. Any one have any pros/cons about either  Imron or Awlgrip.

Awlgrip, all the way. Particularly if you are in saltwater.

both paints are 'wicked' not user friendly & have serious safety conserns.. especialy IMRON ...
there's a famous wooden boat/yacht buildin' shop in OXFORD MD.
called CUTTS & CASE..
on the TRED AVON river .. an all they use is AWLGRIP..

Re: Imron or Awlgrip

Imron is a mature product from many years ago and is EXCEEDINGLY DANGEROUS to use without a carbon filter mask. There are far better products in the marine lines to use........from my experince of aircraft painting for many years....
