Picked up a new 14' aluminum boat and would like to add some seats with swivel bases.
Unfortunately all boat manufacturers seem to make the bench seats out of aluminum with
no access underneath these days. So I'm currently looking for ideas on how do this.
Looks like the seats are aluminum with some kind of plastic riveted on top.

Its my understanding that the clamp on's are for bench's with 90 degree angle. These seats have a
roughly 3/4 inch over hang (have not measured).

I would go back to the dealer.
The web site says this is available for your boat.

The clamp ons would probably still work. You could also put together seats, pedestals, spiders and seat rails. http://www.iboats.com/30-Bench-Styl...-_-Swivl-Eze&gclid=CKfA4OvW778CFScV7Aod3xUAeg They work well and are easy to install. You just screw them to the benches and slide in the seat. The down side is if you do this you'll have a bunch of new holes in your new boat. If you can't stomach that (wouldn't blame you) I agree that OEM seats are the way to go. May not be that much more than DIY done right. Good luck.
