What boat is this? Good for first time owner?

Does anyone know what type of boat this is? http://rochester.craigslist.org/boa/4591159115.html

I'm looking for my first boat that would mainly be used for cruising around lakes, fishing, etc. Would be used for myself, my wife, and my daughter. Need something fairly easy to maintain. Seems pretty cheap if it's in good running order.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... She's a Real Eye-catcher, that's for sure,.... Kinda Cute,....

I'd be afraid of Rotten Wood in the transom, 'n stringers,....
It also looks like it'd be a real Bear to rebuild,....
The hull would have to be split, rebuilt, 'n reassembled,...
There'd be another digit, in front of that "9" before it was done,..... a Big investment in time, 'n money,...

there was a guy in the resto forum that did rebuild one very similar.

35 hp would seem a bit small. trailer seems to small.

It caught my eye because it seemed similar to a pontoon boat but without the large pontoons. The seller doesn't even know the model though so I think I'll pass.

Go for the 'toon ... 35HP on an old deck boat like that (assuming everything was in good shape otherwise) would be like a barge at best.
