Just curious if anyone else has run in to this... I found a hand operated winch system to portage between two parts of our lake (never been there, new adventure). It is basically a train car set up like a boat trailer that rides a cable winch across the gap - up out of the water on one side, across, and back down in to the water on the other. The water being so high has a lot of debris flowing through and that jammed up the cable on my way home. It left the back half of the boat high and try. That was about 20 extra minutes trying to wedge the boat off the cart to slip it in...
