Does yours match any of dimensions for the canoes listed on the 1962 Grumman list:
Did it come w/ any paperwork, title/registration?
Do a google image search for 1962 Grumman aluminum canoe/boat. Might get lucky and find a pix that matches yours, then when you look thru the pix/info about that boat you may find what your looking for.
Pre-1974, boat makers didn't use VIN code 12digit compliant HIN codes. Just a wild guess, but I'd guess your boat is:
The 1329th model 13N built that year.
Some makers used serial numbers for the boats as they came off the line, but it was sequential no matter what model it was.
My 1957 Duracraft Custom Deluxe is serial # 17898. #17897 may have been any other boat made that year.
For lots of boats older then 25 or 30yrs, there just isn't a lot of info available.
