2002 Cobalt 240 Tower - sunshade?

Fellow Boaters,

I recently purchased a 2002 Cobalt 240 with a tower. It does not, however, have a sunshade. Does anyone know where I can find one? OEM or after market would be fine. Preferable black fabric color but it may be that I cannot be that picky.

Also, I am missing a 5 lobed nob for one of the connection points / pivots. Cobalt says it is part number 401447. There is a bolt and nut in there now and it rattles like crazy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did that, they gave me the part number on the 5 lobed nob and their cost of $65. Ouch!

They sent me to this forum to try to find the sunshade. They had nothing.

I would imagine if you are just looking for a threaded knob at a hardware store or online. Shouldn't be too difficult to find a close-enough match.

The only option I can think of for your sunshade issue is to take some measurements and find something close online (like eBay), or to go to a canvas shop and have them make one for you.
