Recently bought a 2004 Glastron bowrider. The trim gauge does not work. Is it usually the gauge that goes or something else down the line? Is there a way to tell? I dont want to but a new gauge if there is something else that is the issue. As you might guess...I am not a mechanical genius but willing to give it a go and learn.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Trim Gauge

I assume this is a I/O? Is this trim for the outdrive or does it have separate trim tabs?

Re: Trim Gauge

Yup, trim sender is usually what goes south. It is on the starboard side of the outdrive pivot point. Cost about $80 to buy a new set. They are not sold individually as far as I know.
