Friends,
Just this afternoon I found a 14 foot CADILLAC aluminum runabout on a period trailer, which is titled as a 1956 model.
The serial number is: CRM330165537.
(The records of our TX P&WD are so riddled with obvious errors of fact that I take what is in the title/registration/ownership records with a POUND of salt.)
Inasmuch as the 8th & 9th characters are "6" & "5", I'm wondering if the boat's serial number is '56" reversed & the little runabout really is a 1956 year model.
Also, does anyone have a 1956 Cadillac Boats brochure that I can look at, so that I can copy the exterior/interior factory design?
(FiberGlassics? - fiberglassics.com does NOT have the usual 1956 year illustrations but rather only a magazine ad.)
Finally, is there an owner's club or registry for Cadillac Boats?
THANKS for reading this post.
yours, satx
