Faria tach

Have a 2010 Southwind with 150 yamaha and the tach does not work at low speeds but does at higher speeds, not sure if accurate, when slowing down it goes back to zero in clockwise rotation instead of retuning counterclockwise.
replace tach or tach and speedometer?
is it worth try to with limited life time warranty?
How do I tell witch model it is, looks like euro 7000?
any trouble shooting I can do? thanks ed

I saw some resent posts on another forum about Faria tach problems. Some people sent them in for repair and other just bought a used one off ebay. I have seen other people post about a lifetime warranty but their site only shows a 3 year.

Give it a "Faria smack". If it has a cylinder select switch on the back exercise it a few times.
