Hey guys!! New to iboats, and plan on putting in some time to learn and share my experiences I have had restoring my 1982 starcraft. I have been restoring my starcraft super sport 16, I purchased a SeaStar with a 90hp mercury on it, so i took the 90 for my starcraft and slapped the 35 johnson on thh sea star and sold it. Anyways, my question is this, what type of steering system is this, I want to buy a new one as the coating on the cable is all flaking off and falling apart, I'm also putting in a new steering system (wheel and whats behind the wheel), as I left it in the boat when I sold it. Suggestions and help with identification would be great.
Here is the motor end of the steering cable, it goes to a 90 hp mercury, with trim. I think it is early 80's model.
