Hello,
I recently bought a 1986 grumman cortez aluminum boat. It is in great shape but, i can not find the capacities plate on or in the boat anywhere. I have searched this forum high and low, but can't find the specs. I have contacted grumman(marathon boat company) and got a reply from them telling me they had nothing on this boat.through searching this forum and the internet I have found some information. I found out the "Cortez " model was manufactured in 85 and 86 , and is rated for up to a 90hp. Empty weight is around 620 lbs. I found that it has a weight limit of 1650 lbs. Mine has a center console and a 1986 Evinrude 70 hp and the oil injection has components have been removed and the p.o. would just premix the fuel. So I guess my question is .... does anyone here have manual on this model of boat? Or any info on capacities(people, weight, ect.) or a picture of a data plate that that I could see, so I can get a new plate made. Sorry for rambling on.
