Just so I don't have to pester a bunch of Marinas I was wondering if you would mind sharing what your marina charges per foot for slip and what your electric runs.

No per foot charge. Just slip length. Electric is not billed, part of slip fee. For us, the last marina out of the 3 we were in for over
16 years. 30 foot slip was $2,100 per season (April 15th thru October 15th) included amenities, like pool, showers, laundry, pump out, internet.

You might be better off pestering a bunch of marinas. It seems that they all charge a different amount.

Yep, best advice is to check with the marina's. Every location is different. 15 miles south of our marina, prices were double what we were paying, and the docks were crap, no pool, no internet.

What I am finding is $2,800-$3,600 with a $.20 off of fuel. Seams to be about the norm. I know my aunt and uncle had their electric seperate. I can't imaging it would be much if I left the AC on 77 and the fridge on when we were not there.

True. I've docked in marinas and private party slips. Some charge per foot, some charge by the size of the slip. Seems like most around here include water and electric in the overall charge, but some don't.

Marina in my area is 1650 for a 12x28 foot slip, 2500 for 16x40 and goes up from there. All slips are for 12 months and electric meters are on each slip. My cruiser runs around 100 a year, but boat is in the water only from April thru October

Mine is $55/ft. It's a municipal marina. Water is included but electric is metered and billed quarterly. Parking and unlimited ramp use is also included. All the other marinas around here charge $90- $100/ft.

Mine is a good bit cheaper than most, its 750.00 a year for a 12 x 20 foot slip, no power or a lot of the other amenity's, but its a 2 to 3 year wait to get a slip. Its on a 9.9 lake.

With a wait list that long I'm amazed they don't raise the rates

Normally I can say Missouri is extremely cheap to live. Seems like this isn't this case when it comes to slip rentals.

On lake of the Ozarks
40' slip - bottom end on lake of the ozarks is $275 a month. Electric and water included. Has bathrooms and that's pretty much it.
40' slip - nicer places are over $4,000 a year.

I just purchased a slip(called a dockominium) for $32K but you can also rent one at the lake I am at(Big Bear in California). Price is $2,300 for a season and the slip is a 24' slip. Includes power and a boat box.

Its not necessarily about the money, its more about being approved by the boat owners association at the marina. Once your approved then you wait till a slip is open, its a small private marina of 270 slips.

Re: Marina price

Out by the Erie islands we're seeing anywhere from $1100 to $2000 for a 30 footer with water and electric. Season runs from April through Oct 15th.
