Hi guys!!
New boat owner question
we have just bought a 18.5ft conneley hull & are on the hunt for a 200hp outboard.
Could you kindly advise do we need a 20" or 25" leg?
It'll be mainly used for cruising around with the occasional spirited run :p plus tow the kids (& me!) on a tube & skis - nothing competitive, just a bit of family fun :)

Thankyou!!!

Measure the top of the transom at the centerline down to the bottom of the keel and that will answer your question.

take a tape measure to the back of the boat... measure from the top of the transom where the motor mounts to the keel... that is the length of motor you need... round up and then adjust the motor up as needed

Previous are correct; however, if it's a Connelley Craft ski boat....it's gonna be 20" shaft!
