Speedometer pitot kit: are all compatible with my speedometer?

I have a pretty generic speedometer for my boat. Basically setup like this:

I would like to hook it up but would like to make sure the pitot tube kit I'm looking at will work:

any will work. do you have a pickup on the motor? most outboards and I/o's have them. then you just need the hose.

couldn't find a pickup on the motor, but maybe i wasn't looking in the right spot.
pitots are pretty cheap and easy to install tho, so it's not a big deal.

Some Mercury Outboards have them, but not much else. Any after market pitot will work. Beter to have a pitot anyway. They are easy to replace, while troubleshooting the lower unit is more trouble.

Your mtr doesn't have it. Only the bigger OMC's did, so get the one you mount on the boat.

that's what i thought- couldn't find it on the engine or info online about one on my model.
ordered one yesterday.
