Looking at a 1988 Regal Sebring IB/OB

I just joined this foroum looks like you can get a lot of information here. I am looking at a 1988 Regal Sebring
4.3 Mercruiser IB I started it up and it sounds good using muffs with water running, boat had some sratches on the exterior,fibreglass is dull and interior needs cleanng,seats are all in good shape,gauges all work,shorelander trailer
is good shape, he wants to take me out on the lake and show me how it runs,he wants $3500.00 for the boat and
trailer. do you think, boat is price about right.it is not perfect.

The price sounds a little high for the condition it's in. You need an on-water test or you're looking at a pig in a poke.
