Bass Tracker PT175 2008 Live Well Problem

The livewell on this boat has a nozzle that you pull to drain the live well and push in to fill. When I push in the nozzle and have the Recirc switch push down the water starts to fill. However, it never fills. I have the plug in the bottom of the tank. It seems that it may be draining out the tank through the little open at the bottom that as the screen on it.

Help! Why does the tank not fill?

Without anyone having the exact same set up it would be tough to say what your problem is. I would start off by trying to run the pump and just fill the wells. I've had to test mine out in the driveway and have a garden hose with the end cut off that I put in the outside of the through the hull fitting while running the pump.

Thank you for your reply and suggestion! Yesterday, I filled the live well directly from a hose into the live well, not through the fitting in the hull. I turned on the recir switch and the water stayed in the tank. I'll try through the hull and see what happens.
