My wife and I are now the proud owners of a Tech Dingy sailboat!

So far my research indicates this was a sailboat used by many colleges in years gone by, to train college students to sail!
We have the mast, new sail, and know that it is a Cat rig! We also know that registration is not required here in Indiana unless we add a motor of some kind!

We have found a Capt. who is going to teach us the art of sailing!!!

So our boat has been repaired many times, and neglected for years.... I have a buddy that says it needs a new glass coat. My new friend Capt. Genleman, states I should just sand and repaint with a 1 part epoxy!

So with that I invite all of you to jump in with your free advice! I'm new to boating, new to sailing, and new to the site!

Thanx! Rev.Red!

Hi Rev.Red - start up a thread on the restorations forums, and post some pictures of your boat. There are a bunch of people with a ton of experience in restoring boats there. You'll get more responses there.
