Recommend pedestal boat seats? Ours are too "leany"?

I'm great with buying from iboats.com or similar venue. I like to support this page as much as possible and have ordered from here in the past. Question is, we recently bought a 14' fishing boat. It has 3 pedestal swivel seats. However, the seats feel like they're leaning back like recliners. The post do have Springs, but I think it's more the seat design?

Any idea on firmer seats with backings? Recommendations?

Also, if I have the pedestals, the mounts, how do I hook on the new ones? Can I just unscrew them from the old boat seat post?

Sure it isn't the floor that's flexing? I saw a thread in the resto section from somebody who built pyramid-shaped seat bases and used short pedestals. Looked nice and sturdy
