Hi. I'm new here and any help is appreciated.

I picked up a pair of these this morning at a yard sale and I really have no idea what they are for. They might be Mahogany, and are roughly 36" long x 9" wide. They do have a tapered cut to them along the thickness side.

I figured they were something a collector could be looking for when restoring so I decided to buy them and hope I can get them to a good home.

Thanks for any and all help.

First guess ... outrigged dagger boards for a canoe. Some canoes/kayaks had sailing rigs available. You would have a dagger board on either side of the canoe and a sail. I'm thinking that's why there's marks like those rotate on the hole up over the logo. Can't find anything to confirm it, but it looks like ya' got two of 'em there.
