Bennet auto trim tab controller

I keep seeing the add on this site for the Bennet auto trim tab controller. I have found myself chacing trim tabs too much and doing stupid things like leaving one all of the way down then lowering the other one to compensate. Anyone have one of these? Does it work well?

Just get a trim tab indicator if you can't keep track of tab positions.

I run an auto tab controller. It works well for it's intended purpose, maintaining your boats running angle and adjusting for an unbalanced load while running long distances. They are not designed to replace normal manual operation for things like getting on plane, etc.

Getting ready to order some Bennett tabs for my boat and very interested in getting it right the first time. Obviously, I prefer not to install something (like basic control switches) only to find out I needed X or Y instead. I hope more chime in on this one!

Why wouldn't you spend the extra $60 and get the cruise control?
