Bottom paint removal on top sides

Im in the process of fixing up a 1989 wellcraft 18 ft. sport.The previous owner was a little sloppy with the red bottom paint and spilled some on different parts of the top sides of the boat.Im looking for a safe way of removing the red blotches without damaging the gel.Any advice is appreciated.Thankyou Andy

Try some acetone. Bottom paint is pretty soft and easy to remove. Maybe a putty knife can just scrape it off.
