Re: bilge cleaner

Palmolive....squirt some in the bilge with some water. Take the boat out for a few hours drain and rinse and it'll look clean.

Re: bilge cleaner

I bought some inexpensive bilge cleaner. Poured it in and forgot it. Some time later all the oil and crud was floating and I too did the drain plug and wash out.

I've had really good luck with Sea Safe bilge cleaner. It's low suds and biodegradable.

I like the cheap orange citrus based cleaner. It makes a good degreaser. Menards sells it in Rubbermaid brand last I bought it.

Simple Green, spray it around good, then spray with water, repeat if you have to. If you have real bad places, you can hose clamp a brush to a pole, and scrub it in.
