Trying to find info on Grayling mini speed boat

I recently pulled this Grayling mini speed boat out of a barn. The guy was selling the place and needed it gone and seemed like a fairly good price so I bought it. It appears to have the original 40hp mercury on it and he said it had very low hours on it. He said he installed the jack plate and stabilizers. I've been searching around the internet hoping to find some info on it but all I can find about grayling is that they mainly made larger boats so I'm hoping maybe somebody on here would have some info on it. Was kind of a mess when we got it out someone had left the cover off but it cleaned up really well and nothing was damaged. Any help would be great thanks in advance.

Nice barn find, I keep looking but never seem to find thos kind. bet she moves right along with 40 ponys Have you had her out yet?

Haven't been able to take it out yet due to Iowa's crazy weather this year and finding out it needs the water pump replaced after starting it up the other day on the muffs. Looks like we might have some decent weather next week so hopefully my new water pump shows up soon.

Thanks for the compliment. When I bought it I didn't plan on keeping it since I already have two other boats but it would be something cool to hold on to so we'll see.

Take a ride and you will keep it! Mini boats are way more fun than big boats and generally attract a lot of attention at the ramp. Having a cute dog along helps too!
