Hello everyone....newbie here...been lurking for quite awhile and figured I'd finally join in on the fun.
I'm installing a new Teleflex CH 1752 (side mounted) and I can't seem to get the cover over the handle and get it to sit right. My cutout is exact to the provided template. It really seems like the handle should come off for installation although the installation instructions don't mention removal of the handle...they also do not mention final mounting procedure.
Teleflex shows the handle as a service part so it must be removable. Does anyone have experience installing the 1700 series controls? Any tricks or secrets that may make my job easier.
