I just took a 1974 gator boat as a trade. It is the type you set in the front & steer with a big gear shift like rod with your left hand & control speed & gear with right. it is completely fiberglass. 2 seater, driver in front & 1 in rear. I can't find anything about this boat, nothing in google & when I find something it says all wood no fiberglass. the floor is fiberglass also, it has some foam type material between the floor & bottom on boat. that foam seems to be very wet from rain getting in around where rear seat is mounted. can anyone point me to info about this type of boat & will setting in direct sun help dry the foam between the floor? thank you very much in advance.

Why don't you just flip it over to drain/dry it?

it has solid hull & floor fiberglass all seamed together, flipping it won't let water out of styrofaom that is between floor 7 bottom of boat, you can only see water in hole for rear fishing seat, stick finger in it & the foam is wet....

Unfortunately, wet foam will NEVER dry out. :(
