12' valco deep vee capacities info

Hello everyone,

I got myself a 12' Valco a while back and I'm trying to get a good picture of the capacities plate so I can register and put a motor on it for this fishing season.

so what I'm asking for is a good quality picture of the capacities plate from a 1986(ish) high sided vee hull 12' valco

I also am wondering if it will handle a 15hp engine

any help would be awesome

15 is a bit much. I'd say more like a 7 1/2. I had a 12' Alumacraft with a 71/2 and a big 10' john with the same engine and it was plenty.

I'm not going to second guess my motor choice now. too late:joyous:
I'm going to do a lot of bay running so I'm erring on the side of caution with more power

does anyone have a capacities plate they can take a picture of? its just a cg reg so I need it to be totally legal

You might tune in to the BIA site and see what the criteria is for giving a rating to a boat. In short, you have to have a boat identical pretty much to yours for reference.
