Im looking at buying a 19 ft bay boat 2006 model Key West. I know they have no wood and i Want that. Are they good boats ? any owners ... I would like to hear from you and your friends.

someone asked about key west and other brands in this size recently; I still have a 17' KW bay boat w/ a 70 my dad bought new in 1988. Good boat; low freeboard* can make it wet; good in flats and protected waters.

*compare their bay boat design to the deep V. Like everthing with boats, the features are trade-offs.

I think their very high quality, well built boat, and have great customer service! Rare these days..

many boats are now made without wood. Key West are a very good boat. I've been out of Big Pine Key 13 miles in a 17'. Very stable and ride very well.
