This may be a long shot, but I have a 1976 17' Glasply and I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what the fuel capacity is for the stock fuel tank?

In a 17 ft boat; I'd say about 18-20 gallons if it's a built in tank.

there is usually a manufacturer's plate near the sending unit on top of the tank; is there an access hatch in the floor?

My 19' has a stock 50 gallon. I've seen several OEM options on the 17' - but the most common one is a 28 gallon.
